Tibor Kalman

I created poster designs for and inspired by the late graphic designer Tibor Kalman. I studied his design elements, mainly exercising the way to broke the grid. Just like his magazine, “Colors” he used various colors on each issue. I chose different color palettes and mixed them around to create a series.

Welcome to Zelysse - A New Country

Starting with inspiration I took from three different countries Belarus, Venezuela and Yemen, I created my own country. The designs are built up from a fictional god named Zelysse. The country celebrates Zelysse everyday. The rigid lines on the flag represent the tight grip the  god, Zelysse, has on the entire country.
